Shipping policy
Shipping Coverage
We ship worldwide to the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Canada, United States and over 50 additional countries. We cannot ship to territories subject to international shipping restrictions, including North Korea, Syria, Iran, Cuba and Crimea.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at a flat rate based on destination:
- United Kingdom: £2.00
- International (EU / Australia / Canada / US): £5.25
We do not currently offer free shipping on any orders.
Processing Times
Orders are processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday). Orders placed at weekends or on bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.
Pre-Orders
Pre-order items will be dispatched on their release date. If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, they will be shipped together when the pre-order becomes available. If you require an in-stock item urgently, please either place a separate order or contact us with your order number to arrange separate dispatch.
Delivery Times
All orders are shipped via Royal Mail. Estimated delivery times from dispatch are:
- United Kingdom: 2-4 business days
- International: 3-17 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, including postal delays, customs processing and local carrier schedules.
Tracking
Tracking information is provided where available for your shipping method. You will receive tracking details via email once your order has been dispatched.
Packaging
All vinyl records, CDs and other physical media are packed securely to minimise damage during transit. We use protective packaging appropriate to the fragility of your items.
International Orders - Customs and Import Duties
For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties, customs charges and local taxes determined by your destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping costs. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please check with your local customs office for more information before placing your order.
Lost or Damaged Items
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window (2-4 business days for UK orders, 3-17 business days for international orders), please contact us at info@verticalrecords.co.uk so we can investigate with Royal Mail.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence. We will offer you a replacement or full refund at your choice. Please note that we can only offer one replacement or refund per order for items lost or damaged in transit.
We cannot accept responsibility for delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.
